Protect our Parking!
Havering's HRA and Labour administration have revealed plans to make parking more expensive across the borough during this difficult period for families. The administration plans to reverse discounts the Conservatives introduced during the Pandemic.
The plans are to:
End the 20% discount for pay-by-app
End the 1hr free on-street parking
Charge £1.50 for 0-1hr parking for all on-street pay & display car parks. Havering Conservatives have proposed a motion to the Council which would protect the 1hr free parking.
This will be debated by the Council on Wednesday the 7th of September which can be viewed from the Council's website.
