The Romford Conservative Business and Enterprise Club was founded in April 2012.
Its objectives are:
- to provide a forum for discussion and networking for all businesses, commercial organisations, market traders and entrepreneurs who work, live or trade within Romford and the surrounding area who support the Conservative Party of the United Kingdom of Great Britain & Northern Ireland;
- to provide information on issues of importance and interest to the business community, in respect of Conservative and national government policies, new legislation from Westminster or the European Union that may have an impact on the business sector, as well as relevant local issues within Romford, Hornchurch and throughout the London Borough of Havering;
- to provide opportunities for social gatherings, for like-minded individuals from the business community to meet, network and engage with each other to their mutual benefit and to meet with leading Conservative politicians and representatives;
- to work in close co-operation with the Romford M.P.’s Business Network;
- to raise additional funds to support the work of the Conservative Party and the Conservative Member of Parliament for Romford, to be shared equally between the Romford Conservative Association and the Romford M.P.’s Conservative Support Club.
