Romford Conservative Association's Big Ben Supper was greatly honoured to welcome James Wharton, Member of Parliament for Stockton South, as its guest speaker at its annual St George's Day Celebration Dinner.
In what was the final Big Ben Supper Club dinner ahead of the Local Government and European Parliamentary Elections in May, the Association was very pleased to have an unprecendented number of Association members and their guests in attendence.
Treated to the usual delicious three-course repaste, members and guests gave the usual warm Romford Conservative reception to James Wharton MP who, despite having come directly from the airport following a Parliamentary trip to Israel, delivered a very clear and forthright argument on the need for the British people to have a say on the nation's future in Europe.
Such a message was of course met with rapturous applause from all assembled.
The speaker then concluded by thanking both those who had supported the event and Andrew Rosindell MP for hosting him. He then closed with a special vote of thanks to the Big Ben Supper Club organisers: Damian White and Osman Dervish.
Notice of the next Big Ben Supper Club event will be posted soon...
